“Blinky™” by Ruairi Robinson: Winner of the Narrative category at the 2012 Vimeo Awards 

A young boy asks for a robot pal for Christmas in hopes that it will fill the void left by his parents’ broken marriage. Blinky™ is the boy’s faithful friend and servant, but things soon turn sinister. Watch to the end to see what happens when a piece of technology gets in touch with its emotions.
